Guvera!

Hey guys it's been a long week or so, since any posts, so I'll post something to cheer y'all up.

Now as most of you would know, there have been cases of music blogs being shutdown for distributing music illegally. This is kinda a painful thing for any music lovers who like to get some of their music off the internet for 'free'.

So I've decided to make this blog as legal as possible. Here's how:
  • That means no streaming of mp3s that are copyrighted, because there are methods of getting into the source code and finding the audio source etc.
  • Also, no apparently 'free' mp3s from 3rd party sources. Sorry guys but that's how things have to be.
  • We'll do our best to give you links to music when we can from legal sources like Guvera, which is recently becoming known for its legal downloading system.
  • If we come across an artist that is willing to share an .mp3 of their songs, we'll surely post that with their permission.
  • You'd expect a blog to have a flash player or something for music. Not this blog. Instead we'll give you guys some info on the song, our opinion and then give you a link to it on Guvera or another legal site. Anyway, you can listen to the songs on Guvera.
I don't want to have to be responsible for legal issues etc on the internet, so I'll keep it safe here.

Sooo.... to start this off is a track I picked up when searching on Guvera.

It's a song called 'Curves' by the Norwegian duo Royksopp who are thumping out some amazing tunes. Their genre would be classified as Electronic/Dance/Chill Out. Their not exactly head-bangin'/thrashin' guys, but I'm running out of options, and have to pick from my collection. They are pretty chilled guys actually, Svein Berge and Torbjorn Bruntland, who've recently released 'Junior' with the hit songs 'Happy Up Here' and 'The Girl and the Robot'. Hopefully they'll release 'Senior' later this year in April. Can't wait :)

Clickity-Click here Headbangers!

Remember, if you're registered, just choose your sponsor for the track and download away! Easy, free and 100% legal. Why not make an account and try it out :D

Enjoy the track guys :)

Music

Hey Headbangers, here's an idea we're going to try out from now onward:

We'll give you Headbangers, oh yes we will, but they will be from our friends at Apple via iTunes.

So, we'll still make it possible to listen to music, just not download it illegally. That is, unless we have direct permission from the artist, or if it is a track made by the public.

I know, it's a little different to most music blogs cruisin' around but hey it's at least LEGAL.

Until another post,

Renegade.

I would walk 500 miles.

Hey, readers, if there are any of you there =D

I'm HnM's new writer, Kalem. That's not my real name, but what do you care, anyway? =P

Obviously, Renegade will still be posting, but I'm here to help him out, and ensure that you guys get fresh content more often than you can possibly handle... Maybe not that much content, but still... =D

I'm more into Alternative, Punk, Rock, and other more... earthy genres. I'm a drummer, so I guess my love for that sort of thing stems from that. I play with a band, too. Not only that, but I write lyrics. See, not all drummers are dumb. You can check them out at http://www(dot)myspace(dotcom)(slash)namelessday

Anyway, that's all from me. When I next post I'll be looking at... Something... I haven't decided what yet. I might talk to Renegade about it, or I might not... =P

Later, guys =)
