QUICK REVIEW: Snø - Some Kind of Beat

Hey guys, here's just a quick review of a great song by Snø. Y'know, the emerging artist I mentioned earlier.


Well, from my sources (Last.fm) he's still creating and experimenting with music, but recently he's released some tests of songs on his Last.fm page for free.


Snø - Some Kind of Beat

This starts off with a drum beat similar to some of Deadmau5's songs, but surprisingly perks up with a funky, street tone (with electronic hints). Then, it breaks up into some stuttering alternate versions of the tone - a deep bassy version and a just-behind the beat.

From then on, it gets more complicated but finally goes back to the start and eventually ends.

I find the song satisfying and listenable. The only critique I have is, it could have gone back to the start more often, rather than get more stuttery.
